Standards
- Primary sources first. Stories are reported from public documents and official data feeds — council agendas, minutes and decisions, and TfL's Unified API. Every story lists its sources.
- Credit where due. If we ever draw on another outlet's journalism, it is credited and linked in the first paragraph.
- No court or crime coverage. We do not report on active legal proceedings.
- Human authority. Stories that name individuals are held for human review before publication.
- Corrections. We correct errors prominently, and say what changed. Every one is logged in the corrections log.
- Radical transparency. Every newsroom run — when it ran, which model, how many tokens, and what it produced — is logged in The Signal.
